  2. disillusionment of his first novel, Crome
  3. Yellow 1921, continued throughout Antic Hay
  4. 1923, Those Barren Leaves 1925, Point Counter
  5. Point 1928, and Brave New World 1932, in
  6. which human beings are mass produced in the
  7. laboratory under the control of the
  8. omnipotent `Big Brother'. He was the grandson
  9. of Thomas Henry Huxley and brother of Julian
  10. Huxley. Huxley's later devotion to mysticism
  11. led to his experiments with the
  12. hallucinogenic drug mescalin, recorded in The
  13. Doors of Perception 1954. He also wrote the
  14. novel Eyeless in Gaza 1936, and two
  15. historical studies, Grey Eminence 1941 and
  16. The Devils of Loudun 1952.
